Privacy Policy

Moving Box Index keeps moving records on your device. We do not operate an account system, advertising service, analytics service, or developer-operated server for the app.

Your moving records

Project names, box codes, rooms, notes, handling markers, checklists, statuses, and imported photos stay in the app’s local storage. The app does not upload them to us. You choose if and where to share a CSV, backup, or label PDF through the iOS share sheet; that destination may have its own privacy practices.

Photos and camera

You choose images through Apple’s system photo picker. Copies stay in protected local storage. Camera access is used only when you start QR label scanning; frames are not saved. A QR label contains format and local record identifiers plus its short code—not box notes or photos.

Backups and purchases

Optional user-initiated backups use the Apple services and destinations you choose; they are not real-time sync. Lifetime Unlock is processed by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive or store payment-card details.

Retention, children, and changes

Records remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app. Exported files must be deleted from their chosen destination separately. The app is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Material policy changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
